A few years ago, I registered the domain wpians.com with a clear vision in mind. My plan was to build a WordPress Question & Answer forum — a place where people from around the world could ask, share, and learn from each other.
But as time went on, the world of technology began to shift rapidly. With the rise of ChatGPT and AI tools, I realized something important: people no longer wanted to wait for answers on forums. Instead, they were turning to AI for instant responses.
That’s when I decided to change direction. Instead of competing with AI, why not create something unique and future-proof for the WordPress ecosystem?
And so, the idea of WPIANS as a directory platform was born.
This will be the first-ever global directory dedicated to the WordPress industry — a place where software companies, agencies, products, and services from every corner of the world can be discovered and listed in one unified space.
The database is almost ready, and very soon, WPIANS will be open to everyone. 🌍
